Our Approach

Looking closely at the places we already pass by

glamtracku.net began as a simple question: what happens in a city when nothing in particular is happening? The answer, we found, is almost everything worth noticing.

We photograph with permission and respect for the people we document.
We favor quiet, unremarkable moments over dramatic or sensational scenes.
We return to the same neighborhoods over time, rather than passing through once.

How We Work

A slow, respectful process

We spend time in a neighborhood

Before any camera comes out, we walk the streets, visit local spots, and simply observe.

We meet people, unhurried

Conversations happen first. We explain the project and ask before we ever take a photograph.

We document, quietly

Photographs are taken in natural settings, without staging or direction, as life unfolds.

We write it down carefully

Each story is written to reflect the person's own words and context as faithfully as possible.

Is this a news outlet?

No. glamtracku.net is a documentary storytelling project, not a news publication. We do not cover breaking events or current affairs.

How do you choose the people you photograph?

We spend time in a neighborhood first and speak with people we encounter naturally. Everyone featured has agreed to be part of the project.

Which cities are included?

We have documented neighborhoods in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Halifax, and Calgary, with more planned.
