Our Story

Why we started documenting ordinary life

glamtracku.net grew out of long walks through neighborhoods that rarely make the news: quiet residential streets, corner stores, transit platforms, and community centers. We noticed that most stories about cities focus on the extraordinary, while the vast majority of city life happens in unremarkable, recurring moments.

So we began photographing and writing about those moments instead — a person waiting for a bus, a shopkeeper closing up for the night, neighbors chatting on a porch. Over time, these small stories have grown into a portrait of how people actually live in Canadian cities today.
